Wellspring HR Forum

Many employees are balancing care of a parent with work, and the cost to employers in absenteeism and increased healthcare costs are massive. The average age of the adult population is increasing, and workers are increasingly caring for children and parents simultaneously.

Don’t miss this valuable training on eldercare impact on the workplace.
The HR Certification Institute has pre-approved this event for 2.00 HR (General) credit hours.

In this presentation, we will talk about the impact of this permanent shift on the workplace, services available to families when they need eldercare, the pros and cons of long term care insurance, the costs  and types of care and what Medicare provides, and ways to encourage the adult caregiver to seek out services so as to prevent a crisis or burnout.

OBJECTIVES INCLUDE
- Learn about the changing workplace in regards to those over 65 years of age.
- Understand the different levels of care for older adults & housing options.
